WINTER REMINDERS

Winter has arrived.  Reminder that students should come to school dressed warmly to play outside!  Snow pants, hats, mittens, boots, etc., labelled with your child's name are a must.  Also, please check the "Transportation link" on our home page for bus delays and especially cancellations. If buses are cancelled in the morning, they remain cancelled for the entire day.  Also, if buses have been cancelled and your child is not attending school that day you MUST still call the school to report an absence.  Lastly, if buses happen to be cancelled on a "Pizza Day", Pizza will be moved to the Friday of that week.

Cannabis – What we know! Parent information sessions April 26 and May 3

Dr. Elizabeth Paquette, Chief Psychologist from the Ottawa Catholic School Board, will be presenting with public school board and Ottawa Public Health staff at 2 public information sessions aimed at parents to learn about cannabis, tackle the myths, what is known about the upcoming new laws, how to have THAT talk with your youth, protecting youth and available services.  The dates and times are as follows - this meeting is open to all parents/guardians: Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.Gloucester High School – 2060 Ogilvie Road.  Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.Sir Robert Borden High School – 131 Greenbank Road
